The courts said that a lock must be installed on the girls bedroom door and must be locked at night so the girls are safe and gave each other for support. THIS IS WRONG!

1. Mandatory supervised visitation with an on site visitation center when accusations of sexual abuse are alleged in custody and or visitation cases. Supervised visitation to remain on site until a psychosexual test has been completed on the accused.

2. Psychosexual evaluation for all parties from a doctor specializing in forensic psychology specifically sexual offender testing.

3. In cases alleging child sexual abuse, the hearings and all court appearances to be video taped as is now done in parts of Michigan. With all parties given or purchasing a copy for cost. If any party is indigent then they will be entitled to one copy free.

4. Judges MUST allow all evidence from both parties to be heard and included.

5. As an exception to Hearsay, statements made by a child 13 years of age or younger, who disclose information to an adult, that adult to testify for them in court. Many children are intimidated to testify in front of their abuser and may need someone to speak for them.

6. A child12 years of age or older can make their own choice of whether they want to visit their parent or not and should be able to testify either in close chambers with an attorney present to the judge, in the court room OR by closed camera with an attorney present to ensure NO duress is imposed.

7. A child of any age can testify closed camera regarding allegations of sexual abuse. Not in the Judges chambers. (first of all not many young children are going to tell a judge that they never met before something that personal and second many judges intimidate children not to tell) We have talked to enough victims before coming to these conclusions.

8. A person who is diagnosed as a pedophile may not seek off site visitation or custody.

9. Registered Sex Offenders may NOT be permitted to have custody of children under the age of 16 years of age.

10. Protective Parent Act written by Richard Ducote to be included into the Kaylee Rain Law.

They still have some control in this situation, however, so we have to keep tight-lipped. IF and when that changes, we will be able to say more. It can be a long time before that happens, but for now, Kaylee is safe, and we have opened this board up to others who want to share their stories.

As far as I know, Dr. Phil has not asked for an update on this story, and as far as I know, Bonii is not seeking to present one. I’m pretty sure Krista wants to forget the whole thing and move on. Jeremy, I believe has legal problems outside of this issue, and I’m sure that Danielle has realized now that she has a child of her own with him, what type of person Jeremy is.

Other than that, we can’t share any other details without bringing troubles on ourselves, so we won’t. We open this board up to others who have stories or thoughts on the subject of child abuse, child protection agencies and the court systems. We’re glad to hear from all points of view.

My neice is 5 years old who’s father has molested her. My sister is in denial. Her boyfriend is the father. The father has served time in prison for previous child abuse of another child of his. His quick temper and extreme verbal abuse are only some on his behavior problems.

After investigation reported from a caseworker, Elkhart CPS/DCS is convinced the father has molested the child. His punishment assigned by CPS he may reside in the same house with the child, but not be alone with the child. The prosecutor cannot file molestation charges against the father since the child is too shy to speak out and confess to the prosecutor that she is being molested by the father. (even through she already confessed to a therapist by she was not licenced. She was a Certified Therapist they would not take her confession…..) Therefore, the prosecutor informed the family that CPS would help protect the child. I am speaking of my 5 year old niece, still living in the same house as the father. No protection for my niece and her 3 year old brother has taken place from the first report to CPS over a year a half ago.

Recently a doctor specializing in Forensic Science, investigated this case he could not understand why the father would be allowed to live in the same house as these children. By doing so this is placeing the children in harms way. I too do not understand why my niece and nephew have been placed in harms way? Who is protecting these children from the pedophile, if child protective services cannot help the children.

As of Yesterday, October 23, 2007 The Director of CPS Tony Summers called and said that the like too keep families together. And if the other family members like to report allegations they can report it. YOu can report it! But they just take your report no follow up will be done! We have gone thru all new case workers, supervisiors all new staff….. Since the first time this case as been reported. Our first case worker suggested a Family Member go and get their Foster Care Licences. So Two of my family members did that. So in case they needed to take the children they can remain in the family. They are now Licensed in Indiana to be Foster Parents. CPS still has the children be in Harms Way. If anyone has any info or suggestions please let me know.

I don’t have any up-date that I can post right now, but I will very soon. At least I hope it is soon. I know I keep saying that, but the people I am working with keep saying the same thing. Anyway, My Granddaughter is doing great, now that she does not see her father. Though I am not posing names I know everyone knows who I am talking about. Things are looking up. Keep praying for us, it’s not over until it’s over….
